I agree with the comment above. The edge trim needs to blend better with the rest of the shoe. Maybe use the dark wave pattern to balance the side with the front/top of the shoe?

dig the handdrawn waves and the pattern theyre making. the light blue upper on the sides feels a bit off. might look tighter if the pattern continued up there as well.

a slightly darker shade of blue for sure on upper sides, maybe short diagonal lines to add some texture? pattern looks good!

Like it's been said before, diggin' the hand drawn waves and the "feel" of the shoe, but yes, the design would benefit from having the upper side panels match the color of the upper back panel. Good luck.
